Office Electric

A couple weeks ago I finally finished installing new wiring and outlets in Ds office.  This turned out a huge amount of unplanned work, as I had to cut the trim off the walls and bend a lot of EMT with a device whose instructions expected someone with more mass.  I also installed new wiring for the kitchen, living room, basement, and laundry room, though those aren’t done yet.

I think this is the conduit that has heavy walls; and it looks impossible to bend!..I do like looking into the innards of your house. I notice though that there isn’t a “finished product” photo, with Dee at her desk using a computer and light hooked into a brand new outlet with reinstalled baseboard….

So now you know how it felt to do what your granddad did for a living for 35 years! I’m very proud of your growing set of skills..and I have a lamp that needs rewired…
    Love ya,

At this point I can easily rewire a lamp. The new stuff I’m putting in is thim-wall conduit (EMT), those pictures with pipe inside the walls I think is actually water pipe that is no longer in use, possibly replaced when they put in the bathroom. The bend that was causing me problems is the one right beside the circuit breaker.

And yeah, no final picture. She actually has all the outlets behind furniture ;)
